Urban Development Study Hanau
Hanau, a city in the Frankfurt Region, is embracing a transformative vision as the "Green City Hanau" by repurposing former U.S. military sites into vibrant, sustainable spaces. The project aims to enhance the city's livability by integrating nature and boosting high-quality services for residents. Central to this vision is the creation of a cohesive open space network, connecting unused areas with the surrounding forest zones, while key city landmarks enrich this green landscape. The initiative not only promotes ecological and urban integration but also enhances Hanau’s image, culminating in a design concept for the former Wolfgang military site.
